From Beirut to Basse: Scaling Innovation at Taibah Schools
Since relocating fully back to Lebanon in April 2025, my focus has shifted toward a singular mission: ensuring the students at Taibah Schools in Basse, The Gambia, aren’t just consumers of technology, but creators of it.
The Technology: AI as an Equalizer
We are moving beyond basic computer literacy. By integrating AI agents and automated workflows into our curriculum—tools I use daily in my own professional practice—we are giving our students a competitive edge that transcends borders. Our focus on AI video generation and Python-based automation ensures that a student in Basse has the same technical vocabulary as a developer in Beirut or Riyadh.
The Students: Our Greatest ROI

The transformation in our students is the true measure of our impact. Whether it’s a six-year-old discovering the logic of code or older students managing our AgriTech initiatives, the curiosity is palpable. We are cultivating an “entrepreneurial mindset,” teaching them to use digital tools to solve local problems, from sustainable farming to e-commerce.
Our Progress: A Global Vision
Since beginning this new chapter in Lebanon, we have:
- Launched a dedicated AI Lab focused on real-world automation.
- Initiated a fundraising campaign on LaunchGood to ensure these resources remain accessible and sustainable.
- Integrated sustainable agriculture projects that use data to improve food security in the region.
The distance between Lebanon and The Gambia is bridged by our shared commitment to excellence. We aren’t just building a school; we are building a global hub for innovation.
